Forty5 is 45 mile mountain bike race that includes trail, pavement and gravel. The race is located in the Laurel Lake area. The trail secton is known as the "lake trail" which is part of the Sheltowee Trace.
The race Starts with a 2.8 mile gradual climb to the singletrack. From there racers has 8 miles of trail that hugs the shore of the lake. Riders then hit the road, crossing Laurel Lake dam and head into Whitley county. After a fast 4.5 miles of pavement riders then takle the "Southern Loop" which is 15 miles of gravel. After completing the Southern Loop Rider head back retracing the route back the finish
